Jar Jar is gone. Well, not totally. But there sure is less of him (it?). The Phantom Edit is making the rounds of underground films. It's an edited version of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. It's got less Jar Jar and less stupid stuff from young Anakin. Most people that have seen it like it better than the original. One viewer described it as "the way the film should've been released." The best part is no one knows who the "Phantom Editor" is. You can't buy a copy. Hopefully that will change. Zap2it has a good article and a fan site has already sprung up.
