Good news from Iraq
The Arab News has a positive article on Iraq?!?  What's the world coming to?  And you can always read Chrenkoff's Good News from Iraq posts.  This one has some interesting details on how Iraq's participation in this years Olympics came about.

Fair Tax

Here's a great article on a bill to replace the income tax with a national sales tax.  It's a very, very interesting read.  If you're opposed to it please let me know why in the comments section.  They have a good FAQ you can read as well as industry specific articles.  They've put a lot of research and thought into this.

Afghan Elections
Here's a great post on the upcoming Afghan Elections.  It's long but you can get the idea from the first part.  I was great to see an Afghan woman competing in the Olympics!

Iranian Nukes
Fareed Zakaria has a great article on quitely growning threat of nuclear arms in Iran.  I wonder what the UN will do about this one?  Maybe sit on their hands like they're doing in the Sudan.

Kerry the Conversative?
I should have posted this a long time ago.  It's been rattling around in my head for a week now.  It's an article by Andrew Sullivan about John Kerry the conservative.  This article is the strongest piece yet that is pushing me toward a vote for Kerry.  Since I can't for against both of them I'm going to be stuck with one.  And a vote for Kerry is a vote for gridlock.  If you're  a Bush supporter take a second and read this one.
