Coalition of the Bribed
I liked the title so I "borrowed" it :) Kerry has been harping on Bush about his so-called coalition. He complained that Bush had to bribe them. So what does Kerry want to do to get more members? Bribe them. What else?

Attacking Iraq
Here's the most thorough post I've seen regarding the justification for attacking Iraq. It's really just a giant collection of links providing detail for various assertions. It's fairly interesting to read though I didn't follow all the links :) One of the posts he links to is on David Kay's findings on the WMD issues.

Kerry's Plans
Great. I now know more about Kerry's plan to sue for victory after the election that I do about his plans in Iraq.

The Mainstream Media
I might have to create a new topic for Media. It's odd that many on the "right" seems to think that the media is biased toward the left and many on the left complain about the exact opposite bias. Read this post by Chrenkoff and decide for yourself. It compares various news outlets reporting of a poll of US military personnel. The poll found that US military personnel were much more upbeat about Iraq and pro-Bush than the overall population. It also found the military personnel thought we sent too few troops and relied too much on the National Guard. It's very interesting to see which publications spun the poll which way.

Google Desktop Search
I downloaded and installed Google Desktop Search yesterday. It's a pretty simple application but seems to do exactly what it says it will do. If nothing else it's a great way to search Outlook instantly. You can configure it to exclude content you don't want searched (gotta hide that pr0n) very easily. The only odd thing was that it indexed my spam folder in Outlook. I'll have to find a way to exclude that. I also haven't figured out where it storing the files yet. Overally highly recommended.

Reforming Health Insurance
Here's an interesting article on reforming the health care industry through event compensation instead of procedure compensation.
